Try the Library Research Guide on Country Profiles.  There's a column called "Country Profiles" with links to books and other sources with in-depth country information, ethnic group profiles, global business protocols, and more.

We have some Reference books as well.  

  • Gale Virtual Reference Library
  • Use the Library Catalog and type encyclopedia of world cultures as a keyword phrase.
  • The Greenwood Encyclopedia of World Popular Culture Reference is in Reference on the 1st floor 

Ebooks are available on several countries and their contemporary culture.
