Q. How do I find information on the environment and geography of the Northwest Coast and the Plateau?

To locate material on the Indians of the Northwest Coast of North America, try a search in the Library catalog found on the Library home page.

1.  Click on the CATALOG tab and select Advanced Search.
2.  Type your keywords in the search boxes. e.g. indians (1st. box) AND north American coast (in the 2nd box).
3. Click Find to bring up the results. 
4. Each record will have a link to en e-resource or a call number if it's a book in the Library.

Indians of the Northwest Coast by Phillip Drucker has several chapters that include descriptions of the environment.
