The Literature Resource Center and Literature Criticism Online are databases that include information on literature topics and literary criticism. Additionally, Academic Search Premier, a comprehensive database from EBSCO is a good place to look at well.

Note: All of these databases can be found on the Library home page.  Choose the alphabetical list from the DATABASES tab and click on the first letter of the database you wish to find.

Specific databases include:

  • Literature Resource Center
    • Search by author or for the title of a specific work.  Click on either the person search or Works Search and enter the name or keywords
  • Literature Criticism Online
    • A pull-down menu allows you to search by various fields.
      • Once you click Search, the left column of the results screen will let you further limit the results.

The English Language & Literature research guide is also a good source for more indepth information and sources.
