Q. How do I find information about an author in a reference book?

Contemporary Authors provides complete biographical and bibliographical information as well as references on more than 120.000 U.S. and international authors.  It's located in the Reference area on the 1st floor of Walker Library as welll as in ebook format.

If you type "contemporary authors" in the LIbrary Catalog,  a list of entries will give you the call numbers for print versions and also links to the ebooks we have. 

• The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, a good source for authors of British ancestry.
