What is OverDrive and how can I use it?

Walker Library subscribes to OverDrive, an audiobook/eBook platform for borrowing popular and nonfiction books. Books can be easily downloaded to phones, tablets, or Kindles using the OverDrive or Libby apps.

Materials can also be accessed and checked out using a regular internet browser by going to https://mtsu.overdrive.com/.

Note: For older devices, Fire tablets, and/or to use a screen reader, use the classic OverDrive app instead of Libby.

Returning materials:

To return a book checked out through OverDrive/Libby:

OverDrive app: Select your device from the list to see detailed instructions.
Libby App: See the instructions about Returning Items.
Browser/OverDrive items accessed via JEWL Search: Visit https://mtsu.overdrive.com/account/loans to manage your account. Select the title you'd like to return and look for the Return icon to release the book.
