Update: The Writing Center plans to re-open to students physically on August 24 and offer both in person tutoring (with social distancing) and online tutoring.
The University Writing Center is now offering "Document Drop" asynchronous tutoring sessions.
A "Document Drop" session 45 minute asynchronous session consists of filling out an appointment form and attaching their piece of writing as well as an assignment sheet if one is available. During the 45-minute period, a tutor will review the writer's concerns, read the piece of writing, and provide feedback on the document. The tutor will upload the writer's feedback at the end of the session and send it via email through a client report form.
The Writing Center is still offering synchronous online sessions.
