Loan periods are determined by the instructor of the course at the time a a request is made to have something placed on reserves. There are five different loan period options for reserves items:

  • 3 hours not to leave the library (NTLL)
  • 1 day
  • 3 days
  • 7 days
  • 14 days

When students borrow a reserves item, they will be informed of the loan period for that specific item. Loan periods may be changed at any time during the semester at the request of the instructor of the course. Contact Library staff at mtsu.library@mtsu.edu to request a change in the loan period or for any other questions about reserves loan periods.
