Q. I paid a fine this morning. I really need to check out some books today. What can I do?

If your fine has already been transferred to the Bursar's Office, you may check out books as soon as you need them.

If your fine was not transferred to the Bursar's Office, you may go through the process of paying through the Marketplace. 

• It normally takes a complete business day to apply the payment and clear a hold after a library fine is paid.
• If you need to clear the hold immediately, print the email receipt you receive after you pay the fine and bring it to the Library Circulation Desk.
