Items that have been ordered and received but are not yet cataloged and available for use will display a status of "In Process" in the library catalog

Current MTSU students, faculty, and staff may request priority processing for a Main Collection book that is listed in the MTSU Library Catalog as "in process" by using the Wait List option or Place a Request option in the catalog record. Items for other collections, including Special Collections, Curriculum Collection, and music or media collections, are generally not available for priority processing.

If you would like more information about the status or availability of a specific book or other item, please contact us using the options on our Ask Us! page.

You can read more about how to make a wait list request for an "in process" book in this FAQ entry.
