Q. How do I find books on famous photographers and their works?

To find books on photographers, search the Library Catalog.

1. From the Library home page, choose the Books & Media tab.
2. Click on Catalog Advanced Search at the bottom of the tabbed search box.
3. Type photographers in box 1 and biographers in box 2.
4. Press Find.

The results screen displays titles that match the search criteria.

• You may select Biography from the Suggested Topics box to find some sources that may list a number of photographers. 

The Narrow Your Search allows you to choose more ways to focus the search. Examples include

• Access (online or at the library)
• Collection (Main Collection, Reference, etc.)
• Format ( Book, DVD, etc.)
• Era (20th century, 19th century, etc.)

You can change your terms at any time, broaden your search or enter a specific photographer's name.
